Sammamish Mortgage is a US-based mortgage company that has been working with EcDev studio to refresh their company website, rebuild the existing mortgage tools (both consumer-facing and professional-facing) as well as build some new calculators and tools from scratch.

Details

This is a multi-layer project that aimed to improve usability and visual appeal of a public website, develop lead page forms and flows. We also rebuilt tools that are meant for loan officers. In the course of the project, our core goals included improved security, enhanced visual look, better sales funnel built, improved usability, faster speed.

Challenge

Our client needed to achieve better conversion rates and reduce bounce rates on the strategic pages. Considering some recent drops on the US mortgage market, these numbers were quite fluctuating. In addition, it was customer's request that all the tools rely on real-time data as much as possible and thus fewer actions are needed from the user. It was made possible through numerous integrations with 3-rd party resources and building extended databases.

Project results

The majority of tools and systems have been rebuilt completely and extended. It resulted in better data routing for pulling rates and displaying them on the public website or on client's internal staff tools. On the public website, lead generation flows have become more usable and inviting. Client’s internal tools have become faster, more convenient to use and more technically advanced.

Public website is presenting key company's strengths, showcasing the main financial tools and inviting home buyers to submit an application.

Dynamic financial tools that rely on real-time data to make it easier for visitors to acquire needed home buying information with minimum clicks.

API-driven Instant Rate Quote Tool that assists visitors in their home-buying journey. Also built as a separate tool for internal LO use (with functionality differences).

Geo-location based tool that gives users information on Loan Limits in a specific location for different property types.

Calculate your mortgage with an easy to use calculator that goes in 4 variations depending on the entry parameters you are adding.

Built for company's internal staff, refinance calculator allows loan officers to compare up to 3 different refinancing scenarios and help customers make better financial decisions.
